Northumberland really does have it all!  Whether you want to visit coastline, a zoo or take in some of the history of the area there is plenty on offer.  

 

Northumberland isnt short of attractions, historic sites and plenty of places to take part in sporting activities.

NE65 provides drinks, events and entertainment on Bockenfield Park and is open to all.

Eschott Airfield

For great events, flying or driving experiences please look to the Escott Airfield located just next door to Bockenfield.

They've got water splashes, knife edges, banked earth and a custom made off road track to really test your skills.  The Alvis Stormer served with the British Army and is still used in combat around the World as one of the best tracked vehicles ever made!

One of Britain's most iconic castles and the location used for Hogwarts in the first two Harry Potter movies.  Alnwick castle offers history and quests sure enough to light your imagination!

Dunstanburgh Castle

The ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle tower over the Northumberland coastal line. It is an ideal family day out with a picnic area, fantastic views, and it is not far from the Scottish Borders.

Visitors can explore the great gatehouse and the imposing Lilburn Tower, which commands stunning views north towards Bamburgh Castle. The magnificent sea views and unique location make this the perfect spot to escape from the stresses of modern life.

7 mile stretch of glowing golden sand.  Stretching from Amble in the north to Cresswell in the south.  Druridge bay is one of Northumberlands coasts largest bays.

This pet friendly beach is teaming with nature, walkers and water sports enthusiasts and in particular a hit with the surfing community.

Beautiful yellow beaches with just a few rocks, iconic views of the Farne Islands and Bamburgh Castles ramparts this is one not to miss.

Running Fox Bakery

The running fox bakery in Felton is an ideal place to eat.  Located just a few miles up the A1 it is a delightful artisan bakery well known throughout the area right next to the river coquet.

They offer beautiful breakfasts, sumptuous cakes and boast the best afternoon tea in all of England!
